    Paper accepted in RAS
    Our collaboration with JSI led to an accepted paper in Robotics and Autonomous journal of Elsevier. The paper's title is "Generalization of Orientation Trajectories and Force-Torque Profiles for Robotic Assembly" by Aljaz Kramberger, Andrej Gams, Bojan Nemec, Dimitrios Chrysostomou, Ole Madsen and Ales Ude.

    Paper accepted in ETFA 2017
    Steffen's paper describing his work-in-progress in our Smart Production facility got accepted in the 22nd IEEE International Conference on Emerging Technologies and Factory Automation (ETFA 2017) for oral presentation. The paper is entitled: "A Novel Framework for Virtual Recommissioning in Reconfigurable Manufacturing Systems" by Steffen Tram Mortensen, Dimitrios Chrysostomou and Ole Madsen.

    2 papers accepted in FAIM 2017
    Thanks to the work of our great Bachelor students in Robotics we got two papers accepted in the 27th International Conference on Flexible Automation and Intelligent Manufacturing (FAIM 2017). The papers are entitled "Integration of a Skill-based Collaborative Mobile Robot in a Smart Cyber-Physical Environment" and "A Skill-based Robot Co-Worker for Industrial Maintenance Tasks" and soon will be available online.

    Workshop in ERF 2017
    Participated this year in ERF'17 where I was happy to meet several old and new colleagues. We also presented a workshop in the timely subject of IPR and patent training (link).

    Workshop in HRI 2017
    Participated in HRI'17 where I had the chance to follow the latest results of the Human-Robot Interaction community. Numerous papers with interesting results and I co-organised a workshop that led to fruitful discussions about benchmarking and reproducible Human Robot Interaction experiments.

    Paper accepted in SIMPAR 2016
    Thanks to the help from the great colleagues of SDU, Odense, Denmark and JSI from Ljubljana, Slovenia we got the paper "Optimizing Grippers for Compensating Pose Uncertainties by Dynamic Simulation" accepted in the IEEE International Conference on Simulation, Modeling, and Programming for Autonomous Robots (SIMPAR 2016).     The 19th International Conference on Climbing and Walking Robots ( CLAWAR2016) gathered researchers from all over the world in London, UK.     What a week! We came back from Hamburg and IROS'15 where we kept ourselves quite busy. I was leading the ACAT booth in the EU Project Exhibition and co-organised a workshop that led to fruitful discussions about Standardized Experiments in Human Robot Interaction.

    Workshop in ERF 2015
    The European Robotics Forum in Vienna was a brilliant experience, where had the opportunity to see all the latest projects and activities within the area of robotics in Europe. I also co-organised a workshop about Hardware and software modularity and interoperability in service robotics: Towards standardisation and presented a poster about our Little Helper robots, "Robot Hardware and Software Modularity - The Little Helper Paradigm.

    IAS 2014 and IRAS 2014
    Part of our AAU team was in Padova and Venice for a week. We participated in IAS'14 the 13th International Conference on Intelligent Autonomous Systems and me along with Simon Bøgh co-organised the 1st International Workshop on Intelligent Robot Assistants ( IRAS'14). We presented our progress in the EU projects ACAT and CARLoS and also presented the paper "SkiROS : A four tiered architecture for task-level programming of industrial mobile manipulators" in the workshop on ROS-Industrial in European Research Projects.
